What is this research about?

Wallis is conducting research on behalf of the Department of Education, Skills and Employment, that will form part of a broader evaluation of the Harvest Trail Services, which aims to encourage more Australian job seekers to take up seasonal harvest work. Wallis will be conducting both qualitative and quantitative research, asking harvest workers, employers, providers and industry stakeholders about their experiences of the program.

What do i need to do to participate?

If you have received a call or email from Wallis regarding this research, please be aware that participation is voluntary. If you would like to participate, please follow the instructions on the email we have sent you or wait for a call from one of our staff members.

If you have been invited to participate in the qualitative research, this will involve a 30-45 MS teams interview with one of Wallis' moderators. If you have been invited to take part in the quantitative component of this evaluation, this will involve completing a short 10-15 minute survey online or over the phone.

When is fieldwork taking place?

Fieldwork will be taking place from early February 2022 until early April 2022. If you have any questions about the research, please email htsevaluation@wallisgroup.com.au.
