CLOSED: National Careers Institute Evaluation
Department of Employment and Workplace Relations
The Careers and International Skills Division of the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations has commissioned Wallis Social Research to conduct an independent evaluation of the National Careers Institute (NCI). The evaluation methodology includes a desktop review, two surveys, and consultations with key stakeholders. The evaluation will assess the NCI's effectiveness in supporting Australians to access careers information, the NCI's role within the skills system, as well as its governance arrangements, performance, and impact to date. It will also assess the NCI's ongoing role and structure within the changing careers information service landscape and the wider economic and policy environment. The Evaluation will also consider the appropriateness of the NCI's governance structure and make recommendations regarding its future role, governance and direction.
When is the survey being conducted?
The survey will be conducted from late October to early November 2023.
How long will the survey take?
The survey will take about 12 minutes to complete online.
How do I take part?
The targeted survey will be hosted on the NCI's Your Careers website and the general survey will go out to an independent sample for wider representation of other audiences across Australia.
