CLOSED: Commuter Car Parks Survey

City of Boroondara

The City of Boroondara is conducting a confidential survey about park and ride car parks and getting around the eastern suburbs.

The research is seeking to understand the local community’s sentiment towards potential new ‘park and ride’ facilities. The purpose of this survey is to:

  • Help Council quantify the demand factors for ‘park and ride’ car parks for users of the train stations in the area

  • Understand the community’s sentiment towards the potential development of ‘park and ride’ facilities located near train stations in the area

  • Determine the likely use of the new ‘park and ride’ facilities if they were located in the City of Boroondara

The information collected from this survey will contribute to Council’s evidence base for determining the feasibility of developing new commuter car parks. The results from this survey, including other feasibility studies and consultations will be used by Council to consider the need for additional parking at each proposed location.
