Further information

As of 15th August 2022, Wallis is conducting a survey about night-time driving for Learner Drivers, on behalf of the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) for the Public Education and Evaluation Program. For this survey, we are speaking to the person responsible for teaching the Learners or P-plate Drivers to drive.

How can I complete this survey?

There are two ways to do the survey:

Online – you can click the  “start survey” button above and enter the ID number that was included on your invitation letter or  via the QR code included on your letter

Telephone –  you can simply wait for us to call. We have a phone number for most people, but not everyone. If you’d like to make an appointment for us to call at a particular time, please let us know by calling 1800 113 444 and quoting your ID number, or email us at TAC_PEEP@wallisgroup.com.au

What is the prize?

Everyone who completes the survey will have the opportunity to be entered in a draw for a monthly prize of $1,000. The prize will be a $1000 eGiftCard, although we are happy to EFT the prize money to the winner if that is a preferred option. Winners will be notified by the contact details they enter into the survey should they choose to enter.

How was I selected?

Victorians who hold, or have held, a licence or learners’ permit or registered vehicle are randomly selected from the VicRoads Registration and Licencing database to take part.

Is the survey confidential?

The survey is entirely confidential. Although the selection uses the VicRoads database, you personally identifiable details are only used to contact you, they are removed from the answers you give – even if you agree to take part in further research or enter the prize draw. Your answers will be separated from personally identifying information when the data is analysed. While we have contact details in order to reach you, we analyse everyone’s answers together without contact information attached. The aim of this survey is to understand Victorian’s views and experiences, rather than the view and experiences of any particular individual.

About the VicRoads Registration and Licencing Database

The TAC has access to the VicRoads database of all registered and licenced drivers and riders for the purposes of improving road safety in Victoria. The VicRoads privacy policy can be viewed on their website by opening the ‘Protecting your privacy brochure’ at the bottom of this web page.
